HDFC Bank: Changes in leadership roles within HDFC Bank have been reported. Arvind Kapil will lead the mortgage business, while Arvind Vohra is the new Group Head of retail assets. Parag Rao will take on additional responsibilities, including the marketing and liability product group. Smita Bhagat & Sampath Kumar will serve as the new retail branch banking heads, and Ramesh Lakshminarayanan will lead the IT & digital function, while Rakesh Singh will head the creation of banking as a service (BaaS).

Adani Enterprises: Green Vitality RSC, a subsidiary of Abu Dhabi’s International Holding Company, has acquired 0.06 percent of Adani Enterprises’ equity through open market transactions, increasing its shareholding to 5.04 percent.

Rail Vikas Nigam Limited: RVNL has emerged as the lowest bidder for a project in Himachal Pradesh worth Rs 444.26 crore for the development of distribution infrastructure.

APL Apollo Tubes: The company reported a 12 percent YoY increase in sales volume for Q2FY24, the highest quarterly sales volume ever.

Maruti Suzuki India: The company received a draft Assessment Order for FY20, with proposed additions/disallowances of Rs 2,159.7 crore. The company will file objections before the Dispute Resolution Panel.

Avenue Supermarts: The operator of D-Mart reported an 18.5 percent increase in standalone revenue from operations for Q2FY24.

Zensar Technologies: Samir Gosavi has resigned as Senior Vice President of the company, effective from October 20, 2023, to pursue opportunities outside the organization.

Hero MotoCorp: Deliveries of the Harley-Davidson X440 motorcycle are set to begin on October 15.

Titagarh Rail Systems: The company signed a contract worth Rs 857 crore with the Gujarat Metro Rail Corporation to manufacture 72 standard gauge cars for the Surat Metro Rail project.

Bank of Maharashtra: The bank reported a 22.2 percent YoY increase in deposits and a 23.55 percent YoY growth in gross advances for the quarter ended September FY24.

Bajaj Finserv: Bajaj Allianz General Insurance Company (BAGIC) received a show cause cum demand notice alleging a tax demand of Rs 1,010 crore related to GST on co-insurance and re-insurance premiums.

Vedanta: Total aluminum production for Q2FY24 was 594 kt, up 2 percent, while mined metal production decreased by 1 percent to 252 kt YoY.

VST Tillers Tractors: The company established a joint venture called VST ZETOR in collaboration with HTC Investments to launch three tractors in the 40-50 HP range.

Trident: The company commissioned a new rooftop solar power project of 9.50 MWp capacity at Budhni, Madhya Pradesh.

Pidilite Industries: The subsidiary Pidilite MEA Chemicals and Spain’s Corporacion Empresarial Grupo Puma have incorporated a joint venture company, PidilitePuma MEA Chemicals, in the UAE to manufacture construction chemicals.

Oracle Financial Services Software: Makarand Padalkar has been appointed as the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the company, effective from October 5.

Yes Bank: The bank reported deposits growth of 17.2 percent YoY and advances growth of 9.5 percent YoY for the quarter ended September FY24.

V-Mart Retail: Total revenue for Q2FY24 was Rs 549 crore, up 8 percent, primarily due to a shift in the festive sales period.
