However, Khaitan Chemicals & Fertilizers Ltd., Gujarat Narmada Valley Fertilizers & Chemicals Ltd., Madras Fertilizers Ltd., Zuari Agro Chemicals Ltd., Aries Agro Ltd., National Fertilizers Ltd., Deepak Fertilisers & Petrochemicals Corporation Ltd., Gujarat State Fertilizer & Chemicals Ltd., Rashtriya Chemicals & Fertilizers Ltd., and Madhya Bharat Agro Products Ltd. faced losses.
The broader market saw the NSE Nifty50 index closing 216.05 points down at 22488.65, while the 30-share BSE Sensex ended down 617.3 points at 73885.6.
Among the top gainers in the Nifty pack were ICICI Bank Ltd., Axis Bank Ltd., HDFC Bank Ltd., State Bank of India, Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd., and Bharti Airtel Ltd. On the contrary, Tata Steel Ltd., Tech Mahindra Ltd., Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd., Titan Company Ltd., Wipro Ltd., Shriram Finance Ltd., Bajaj Finserv Ltd., Nestle India Ltd., Bajaj Finance Ltd., and Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Ltd. faced losses.
