Tata Motors & Magenta Mobility Collaborate, Deploy 100 Tata Ace EVs

Magenta Mobility has partnered with Tata Motors to deploy more than 100 units of Tata Ace EV, consisting of over 60 units of Ace EV and over 40 units of the recently launched Ace EV 1000. This initiative is part of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between the two companies in October 2023, with a target of 500 units of the Tata Ace EV.

Maxson Lewis, Founder & CEO of Magenta Mobility, expressed enthusiasm about the collaboration, stating, “We are thrilled to deepen our partnership with Tata Motors, furthering our commitment to delivering safe, smart, and sustainable mobility solutions across India.” He highlighted that the deployment of over 100 Tata Ace EVs is a significant step towards their ambitious ‘Ab Ki Baar Dus Hazaar’ program, aimed at deploying 10,000 electric vehicles by September 2025. Lewis emphasized the synergy between Tata Motors’ expertise in small commercial vehicles (SCVs) and Magenta Mobility’s capabilities in logistics, charging infrastructure, and technology.

Vinay Pathak, Vice President & Business Head – SCVPU, Tata Motors, also commented on the partnership, stating, “Marking a major milestone in our partnership with Magenta Mobility, we take immense pride in the deployment of Tata Ace EVs into their fleet.” He highlighted their shared vision of revolutionizing intra-city distribution through advanced, zero-emission mobility solutions. Pathak emphasized the superior performance, reliability, and operational efficiency of the Ace EV, which contributes to a greener future for India.

Performance of Tata Ace EV

The Tata Ace EV is powered by the EVOGEN powertrain, offering an exceptional driving experience with a 7-year battery warranty and a 5-year comprehensive maintenance package. It features advanced battery cooling and regenerative braking systems for safe, all-weather operations and high uptime. With regular and fast charging capabilities, it ensures efficient operations and contributes to a greener future for India.

The robust performance of the Ace EV, combined with its near-100% uptime, has received positive feedback from customers.
