BMW India Announces Up to 2% Price Hike Across Model Range from January 1

German luxury carmaker BMW has revealed its decision to raise the prices of its vehicles by up to 2% across the entire model range, starting from January 1. This move is aimed at mitigating the adverse impacts of fluctuating foreign exchange rates and escalating input costs. BMW India President, Vikram Pawah, stated that this price adjustment is a strategic response to a combination of factors.

Pawah explained, ‘In the face of evolving dynamics, fluctuations in exchange rates, and rising input costs, this price adjustment will sustain the crucial balance that allows us to consistently deliver the high standards and power-packed experience our customers associate with BMW vehicles.’

BMW India offers a range of luxury vehicles, spanning from the BMW 220i M Sport to the BMW XM, with prices ranging from Rs 43.5 lakh to Rs 2.6 crore.

Joining the ranks of other passenger vehicle manufacturers like Maruti Suzuki, Hyundai Motor India, Tata Motors, Mahindra & Mahindra, Honda, and Audi, BMW’s decision reflects the industry trend of announcing price hikes for vehicles scheduled for January.”
