Shares of Torrent Pharmaceuticals, Divis Laboratories, Abbott India, HCL Technologies, and Bajaj Auto all reached new 52-week highs today. The Nifty 50 index increased by 72.55 points (0.29%), and the Sensex rose by 243.54 points (0.30%) as of 10:59 AM IST on August 30, 2024. The Bank Nifty was up by 210.35 points (0.41%) at 10:44 AM IST.
On the other hand, Shubhlaxmi Jewel Art, Divgi Torqtransfer Systems, Rishabh Instruments, GSS Infotech, and Poddar Housing & Development all hit their 52-week lows today.
In the BSE Sensex index, Bharti Airtel, Power Grid Corporation of India, Mahindra & Mahindra, NTPC, and Tata Steel were among the top gainers, while Tata Motors, ITC, Reliance Industries, Nestle India, and Infosys were among the top losers.
In the Bank Nifty index, Bandhan Bank, Au Small Finance Bank, IDFC First Bank, Punjab National Bank, and Bank of Baroda were the top gainers, but the top losers were not listed.
