TCS the largest software company in India, has won a contract to spearhead business process change at Aadhar Housing Finance for an undisclosed amount, the two firms said on Wednesday. According to a release, the domestic home lender would use the lending and securitization platform of the Tata group firm to expand its market.
The joint and cooperative cloud platform built on blockchain technology will be used for an end-to-end business process transformation in the cooperation with TCS. For TCS, which depends on export markets for revenue, the Indian market accounts for around 5% of total sales. The company’s largest market category globally is banking, financial services, and insurance.
According to the country head of the software business, TCS, Ujjwal Mathur, “TCS lending and securitization platform is helping Aadhar Housing Finance leverage the potential of digital technology to better client experience and boost its market position.”
According to the release, the platform has improved sales operations and provides seamless customer relationship management capabilities utilising artificial intelligence and machine learning.
