All About Tata Avinya
Tata Motors is also expanding its EV-exclusive showrooms, growing from the current two to 50 over the next few years in stages.
To improve the charging infrastructure, Tata Motors plans to increase the number of public charging points from 10,000 in FY24 to over 100,000 by FY30. Community charging points are also expected to grow from 4,300 to over 100,000.
Additionally, Tata Motors will bundle EVs with solar rooftops, giving customers tangible financial benefits. This initiative aims to promote both solar rooftops and EVs, with specific targets set to achieve this. The company will continue to work with other Tata Group companies like JLR, Agartas, Tata AutoComp Systems, and Tata Power to access advanced technologies, localization, and cost benefits.
The EMA platform from JLR, which will support the Avinya, is expected to help Tata Motors enter the premium pure EV market and provide additional cost benefits.
Tata Motors remains dedicated to driving innovation and building infrastructure for electric vehicles.
