Shares to Watch Today: ABFRL, Amara Raja, Tata Steel, Brigade, NBCC, Wockhardt

Amara Raja Energy: The company saw a big jump in net profit, rising 61.4% year-on-year to ₹229.8 crore for the fourth quarter of FY24. Their revenue increased by 19.5% to ₹2,908 crore.

Tata Steel: Expected to report a 7.6% drop in revenue to ₹58,170 crore for Q4FY24. The EBITDA is projected to fall by 14% to ₹6,179 crore, and profit after tax is expected to drop by 40% to ₹942 crore.

Brigade Enterprises: Reported a huge 234.3% increase in net profit to ₹210.9 crore for Q4FY24. Revenue doubled, rising by 102.04% to ₹1,702.4 crore. The EBITDA was ₹432.8 crore, with a margin of 25.4%. Total collections for the year stood at ₹5,915 crore, up 9% from FY23.

One97 Communications: Gautam Adani is reportedly considering acquiring a stake in One97 Communications, the parent company of Paytm. Adani met with Paytm’s founder, Vijay Shekhar Sharma, to discuss this potential deal.

NBCC (India): The company saw a 24.6% increase in net profit to ₹141.5 crore for Q4FY24. Revenue surged by 43% to ₹4,025 crore, with EBITDA at ₹240.2 crore and an EBITDA margin of 6%.

Wockhardt: Reported a net loss of ₹177 crore for Q4. Revenue from operations increased slightly by 3.2% to ₹700 crore.

IRCTC: Posted a 2% rise in consolidated net profit to ₹284 crore for Q4FY24. Revenue from operations grew by 19% to ₹1,155 crore.

Hindalco Industries: Novelis Inc., a US-based subsidiary of Hindalco, is aiming for a valuation of up to $12.6 billion through an IPO, offering 45 million shares at an estimated price range of $18 to $21 each.

Grasim Industries: Birla Group Holdings increased its stake in Grasim Industries from 19.10% to 23.18%.

MedPlus Health Services: Reported a 25.6% increase in net profit to ₹33.4 crore for Q4FY24. Revenue climbed 19% to ₹1,490.4 crore, with EBITDA rising by 29.4% to ₹105.7 crore and an EBITDA margin of 7.1%.

Gujarat Narmada Valley Fertilisers & Chemicals: Saw a 61.3% decline in net profit to ₹130 crore for Q4. Revenue dipped by 7.1% to ₹2,110 crore.

Reliance Industries: Deciding which business to take public first, with Reliance Jio Infocomm as the likely candidate. They have also signed a deal with Russia’s Rosneft to buy oil in roubles.

Cochin Shipyard: Secured an international order from North Star Shipping to build hybrid Service Operation Vessels for a UK offshore windfarm, with an option for two more vessels.

PNB Housing Finance: Two shareholders are offering a 2.68% stake in the company, seeking nearly ₹500 crore from the share sale.

Canara Bank: The board will meet on May 31, 2024, to discuss and approve its capital raising plan for FY 2024-25.

ITC: The hotel business demerger into ITC Hotels is expected to unlock value for shareholders and improve return ratios.

PB Fintech: Tencent Cloud Europe BV sold 55 lakh shares in Policybazaar operator at an average price of ₹1,208.2 per share, totaling ₹664.51 crore.

HDFC Life Insurance: Chief Risk Officer Rangarajan BN resigned, effective July 15, 2024. Khushru Sidhwa will take over the role from July 16.

NMDC: Will distribute and market HR coils, sheets, and plates for NMDC Steel.

Aarti Drugs: Promoter Mirik Rajendra Gogri sold 4,68,378 shares at an average price of ₹485.5 per share.

Prudent Corporate Advisory Services: Canara Robeco Mutual Fund, DSP Mutual Fund, and Kotak Mahindra Mutual Fund bought a 5.3% stake in the company at ₹1,650 per share, totaling ₹363.9 crore.

Aster DM Healthcare: Reported a net loss of ₹24 crore in Q4, down from a profit of ₹170.8 crore the previous year. Revenue grew by 20.65% to ₹973.6 crore.

Dynamatic Technologies: Saw a threefold increase in profit to ₹57.11 crore. Revenue grew slightly to ₹370.4 crore.

Greenlam Industries: Reported a 10.9% decline in Q4 net profit to ₹40.97 crore, while revenue rose by 16.9% to ₹624.09 crore.

Epack Durable: Reported a 16.5% fall in Q4 net profit to ₹27.8 crore, with revenue dipping by 17.7% to ₹525.7 crore.

Supriya Lifescience: Reported standalone Q4 revenue of ₹158.18 crore, up 11.18%. Net profit was ₹36.93 crore, down 3.39%.

ITI: Loss widened to ₹238.8 crore, with revenue declining by 22.4% to ₹601.3 crore. EBITDA loss increased to ₹173.8 crore.

Fineotex Chemical: Reported standalone revenues of ₹118.47 crore in Q4FY24, up 29.47%. Net profit was ₹32.89 crore, up 119.23%.

Hindware Home Innovation: Reported a decrease in Q4 revenue to ₹109.16 crore, with a net loss of ₹27.87 crore.

Coastal Trawlers: Reported a 51.8% increase in Q4 revenue to ₹112.29 crore, but a net loss of ₹5.20 crore.

Uflex: Reported a slight decrease in Q4 revenue to ₹1,657.24 crore, with a net profit of ₹61.37 crore.

PTC Industries: Reported a 60% increase in Q4 net profit to ₹14.7 crore, with revenue rising by 16.4% to ₹72.4 crore.

MTAR Technologies: Reported an 84.3% dip in Q4 net profit to ₹4.87 crore, with revenue slipping by 27.2% to ₹143 crore.

TCPL Packaging: Reported a 20.2% increase in Q4 net profit to ₹29 crore, with revenue rising by 4.7% to ₹400.5 crore. The board announced a ₹22 per share dividend.

Amines and Plasticizers: Reported standalone Q4 revenue of ₹177.08 crore, up 7.74%. Net profit was ₹12.92 crore, up 65.91%.
