NEW DELHI: Despite the BSE Sensex rising by 159.87 points to 74,045.47 on Friday due to strong buying in major blue-chip stocks, several other stocks saw significant declines.
On the BSE, these stocks dropped more than 5% during the session:
- Silicon Rental Solutions: Down 17.42%
- Angel Fibers: Down 17.29%
- Vedant Asset: Down 16.17%
- ObjectOne Information Systems: Down 13.06%
- Goenka Business & Finance: Down 12.02%
In the Nifty pack, 24 stocks were trading higher, while 26 stocks were trading lower.
The Nifty index was up by 40.45 points at 22,529.1.
On the BSE, the following stocks hit their new 52-week lows:
- Indokem Ltd
- Deep Polymers
- Shree Securities
- Revathi Equipment
- Thinkink Picturez
Meanwhile, these stocks reached their new 52-week highs:
- Jasch Gauging Techno
- Bharat Rasayan
- J Kumar Infra
- Conart Engg
- Sonal Mercantile
