RuPay Credit Card on UPI: IndusInd Bank’s New Lifetime Free Platinum Card

IndusInd Bank and Poonawalla Fincorp Limited have introduced a new RuPay credit card called the IndusInd Bank Poonawalla Fincorp eLITE RuPay Platinum Credit Card. Here’s what you need to know about its unique features:

1. Enabled on UPI: This credit card works with popular UPI apps like Google Pay, BHIM, Paytm, and PhonePe. It’s important to note that only RuPay credit cards can be used on UPI apps, not those powered by Visa or Mastercard. Plus, there’s no joining fee or annual fee.
2. Reward Points: You earn 2.5 reward points for every Rs 100 spent on select e-commerce transactions, excluding travel and certain categories like utility bill payments. For travel bookings, you get 1 reward point per Rs 100 spent. Additionally, you’ll earn 0.5 reward points for spending Rs 100 on select merchant categories. These rewards are applicable for UPI payments and transactions made on point-of-sale machines too.
3. Fuel Surcharge Waiver: Enjoy a 1% fuel surcharge waiver on transactions between Rs 400 and Rs 4,000 at any fuel station across India.
4. Movie Ticket Offer: Get a buy one get one free option on movie tickets booked through BookMyShow. You can avail of this offer once a month, with the price of the free ticket capped at Rs 200.
