Reliance’s Tira Brings Global Luxury Skincare Giant Augustinus Bader to India’s Booming Beauty Market

Reliance’s beauty platform, Tira, announced on Monday that it is bringing the global luxury skincare and haircare brand Augustinus Bader to India.

The brand, which was founded by world-renowned stem cell and biomedical scientist Professor Augustinus Bader, will be available exclusively on Tira. Customers can shop for the luxury collection online or visit select Tira stores in Mumbai, Delhi, Hyderabad, and Bangalore.

Along with the product range, Tira will also provide expert guidance to help customers choose the right products for their skin.

“At Tira, our goal is to offer the best global and local brands to Indian consumers. Launching Augustinus Bader in India is part of our mission to provide high-quality, luxury skincare to India’s growing beauty community,” said Bhakti Modi, Co-Founder of Tira.

Charles Rosier, Co-Founder and CEO of Augustinus Bader, expressed excitement about entering the Indian market. “We are thrilled to bring our scientifically advanced skincare line to India. Tira’s deep understanding of the Indian beauty market made them the perfect partner for us. This partnership marks a major step for us as we expand into one of the world’s fastest-growing beauty markets,” he said.

India’s beauty market is expected to grow to $20 billion by 2025, with luxury products growing by 15%. Euromonitor’s data highlights how retailers are improving customer experience through clean beauty, inclusive skincare, and AI-powered solutions. The skincare market alone was valued at $6.53 billion in 2022 and is projected to reach $8.84 billion by 2027, with an annual growth rate of 6.25%, according to Research and Markets.

As the beauty market in India grows, Tira faces competition from other platforms like Nykaa, Tata Cliq Palette, and Myntra. In addition to its online presence, Tira has opened multiple stores in key cities across India.
