Rays Power Infra Secures ₹940 Crore in New Solar Projects to Boost Renewable Energy Efforts

Rays Power Infra, a provider of solar energy solutions, announced on Friday that it has won projects worth ₹940 crore. These new projects include a total of 362 megawatts (MW) in Rajasthan, as stated in a company announcement.

This latest achievement strengthens Rays Power Infra’s commitment to helping India meet its renewable energy goals, especially in Rajasthan, which is becoming a key area for solar power generation.

The company is excited about this significant milestone in its journey to expand sustainable energy solutions across the country. In addition to the solar projects, Rays Power Infra has also secured a 600 KW / 3000 KWh flow battery project from NTPC, highlighting the growing need for energy storage solutions in the renewable energy sector. This will help manage and integrate renewable energy sources into the power grid more effectively.

Ketan Mehta, Managing Director and CEO of Rays Power Infra, expressed enthusiasm about securing these projects, noting that they showcase the company’s leadership in renewable energy and its commitment to using innovative solutions, such as energy storage, to enhance solar power.

Founded in 2011, Rays Power Infra was one of the early entrants in the solar park sector and has since established itself as a key player in turnkey solar engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) services, addressing the rising demand for renewable energy in India.
