Ravi Menon Steps Up as Chairman of Sobha Group, PNC Menon to Stay On as Founder

Sobha Realty, a well-known real estate company based in Dubai, has made an important leadership change. Ravi Menon, who has been Co-Chairman of Sobha Group, will now take over as the Chairman starting November 18, 2024.

PNC Menon, the founder of Sobha Group, is stepping down from his role as Chairman but will continue to be involved with the company as its founder. He will still guide the company’s subsidiaries and help ensure its ongoing growth.

Ravi Menon, who has been with Sobha Group for over 20 years and has a degree in civil engineering from Purdue University, USA, has played a key role in the company’s success. He became Vice Chairman in 2006 and has since helped lead the company both in India and Dubai.

Ravi Menon expressed his commitment to continuing Sobha Realty’s legacy and expanding it globally. He will work closely with Francis Alfred, the Managing Director of Sobha Realty, to drive the company forward. Together, they aim to maintain high standards of quality and innovation.

Sobha Group is also planning to expand into the US market with a major project in Texas next year. This expansion is expected to generate over $10 billion in revenue, following Sobha’s success in Dubai, where it has become one of the top real estate developers.

In Dubai, Sobha has completed major projects like Sobha Hartland and Sobha Hartland 2, and the company is now planning to launch a flagship project called The S on Sheikh Zayed Road, featuring luxury apartments.
