NSE Launches New Mobile App and Upgraded Website to Boost Investor Access Across India

The National Stock Exchange (NSE) celebrated Diwali with the release of the official NSE mobile app, “NSEIndia,” and a major update to its website. This expansion adds support for 11 regional languages, making financial data accessible to more investors across India. According to an NSE press release, the initiative reflects the exchange’s commitment to making the market more inclusive.

New Languages on the Website

The updated website now offers information in Assamese, Bengali, Kannada, Malayalam, Oriya, Punjabi, Tamil, and Telugu, along with the original English, Hindi, Marathi, and Gujarati. NSE believes that these language options will increase accessibility for investors nationwide, helping more people feel confident about entering the market.

Features of the NSEIndia App

Available on both Apple and Android stores, the app is packed with user-friendly features:

  • Market Overview: See top indices, market trends, and snapshot data at a glance.
  • Capital Market Insights: Quickly view Nifty 50’s top gainers, losers, and most active stocks.
  • Stock Search and Watchlist: Easily find stocks and set up personalized watchlists.
  • Derivatives Data: Access options trading data, active calls, puts, and open interest insights.

Sriram Krishnan, NSE’s Chief Business Development Officer, expressed that the app and website updates are part of NSE’s goal to empower investors from all backgrounds to participate in India’s economy with ease and confidence.
