Amazon announced this partnership with the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) on Monday, aiming to make textbooks available at their maximum retail price (MRP) across all serviceable pin codes in India.
Amazon India will not only serve individual customers but also help NCERT with bulk orders for government agencies and schools. To ensure timely and efficient deliveries, NCERT has appointed specific distribution vendors to work with Amazon sellers.

Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan highlighted that this collaboration is aimed at providing students and educators with access to genuine and affordable resources, making their academic journeys easier.
“By making NCERT textbooks available on Amazon.in, we are helping millions of students across India pursue their education more conveniently,” Pradhan said.
