NBCC (India) Ltd has won a ₹75 crore contract to expand the infrastructure at the Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT), Nagpur. The company announced this achievement on Thursday, stating that it will help improve the educational facilities at the institute, which is about 25 kilometers from Nagpur city.
This new project follows the successful completion of Phase I, which included an Academic Block (G+5), an Admin Block (G+2), a Hostel Block (G+10), and a Residential Block (G+11). Now, IIIT Nagpur is ready to take the next step in its development.
Phase II will involve constructing an Academic Block B, along with necessary external development work and electrical and mechanical services. The project will also include a canteen that can serve around 200 students and a multi-purpose hall designed to accommodate up to 1,000 students and guests.
