L&T Secures Major Contracts Worth Up to ₹5,000 Crore for Clean Energy Projects

Larsen & Toubro’s Power Transmission & Distribution (PT&D) business has won significant new contracts both in India and abroad, worth between ₹2,500 and ₹5,000 crore. These projects aim to build substations and transmission lines to support clean energy and provide a reliable power supply.

In India, L&T will construct two 765kV double circuit transmission lines. These lines will transfer renewable energy from the Jaisalmer/Barmer Renewable Energy Zone in Rajasthan to substations in Madhya Pradesh.

Internationally, L&T will help Saudi Arabia enhance its 380kV power network in the central region by building a 380kV substation and overhead line segments. In the UAE, L&T will construct a 220kV substation and three 132kV substations to meet the growing electricity demand in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
