Kewal Kiran Clothing Limited, known for its four menswear brands—Killer, Integriti, Lawman Pg3, and Easies—has acquired a 50% stake in Kraus Casuals Private Limited for ₹166.51 crore. This move marks the company’s entry into the women’s denim and casual wear market.
Kraus Casuals, operating under the brand Kraus Jeans, designs, manufactures, sells, and exports women’s, teens’, and kids’ casual and denim clothing. Previously, the business was run by the partnership firm Oriental Trading Company.
Kraus Jeans products are sold in 1,000 large stores like Lifestyle, Pantaloons, Reliance, Shoppers Stop, and Lulu, and they have 8 exclusive brand outlets. In comparison, KKCL operates 488 exclusive brand outlets.
“We’ve been looking to acquire a women’s wear brand, and with this acquisition, we are excited to expand into this category,” said Kewalchand Jain, Chairman & Managing Director of KKCL.
