New $200 Million Hospitality Venture: Hyderabad-based JV Ventures and Terminus Group are launching a $200 million hospitality development platform under the Madison brand. Both companies will contribute equally to this initiative, which aims to develop and manage luxury hotels in cities like Thiruvananthapuram, Visakhapatnam, Tirupati, and Hyderabad.
Ambitious Plans: Over the next five years, the platform plans to build 25 hotels with more than 3,000 rooms. S P Reddy, chairman of Terminus Group and Madison, highlighted that this venture offers a unique opportunity for investors by minimizing operational risks while maintaining the prestige of hotel ownership.
Expanding Portfolio: Jasmeet Singh Chhabra, cofounder of JV Ventures, said Madison will be their flagship product in a broader living space concept called PowerPod, which caters to all age groups. This hospitality platform will complement their existing $500 million portfolio in life sciences and education.
India’s Growing Travel Market: India is becoming a top travel destination, with a surge in both leisure and business travel driving growth in the hospitality sector. The year 2023 also saw a wave of new investors entering the industry.
