HDFC Bank Scheduled Downtime: 7 Key Net and Mobile Banking Services Unavailable June 9, 16

HDFC Bank has informed its customers that some banking services will be temporarily unavailable on June 9 and 16 due to system upgrades.

When Will Services Be Unavailable?

• June 9, 2024: 3:30 AM to 6:30 AM IST (3 hours)
• June 16, 2024: 3:30 AM to 7:30 AM IST (4 hours)

Services Impacted:

• Account Services: General account management.
• Deposits: Adding funds to accounts.
• Fund Transfers: IMPS, NEFT, RTGS services.
• Account Statements: Downloading account history.
• External/Merchant Payments: Paying merchants or external services.
• Instant Account Opening: Opening new accounts instantly.
• UPI Payments: Unified Payments Interface transactions.

• June 6, 2024: 12:30 AM to 2:30 AM

During these times, all debit, credit, and prepaid card services were unavailable on HDFC Bank’s ATMs, POS machines, online payment gateways, and Netsafe transactions.

How to Register for HDFC Bank ChatBanking:

Starting June 25, 2024, HDFC Bank will only send SMS alerts for:

• Transactions above ₹100 (for money sent/paid)
• Transactions above ₹500 (for money received)

Email alerts will continue for all UPI transactions.
