Meanwhile, major market indices like the Nifty 50 and Sensex also saw declines, with the Nifty 50 down by 50.45 points (-0.21%) and the Sensex down by 142.57 points (-0.18%) as of August 13, 2024.
The Bank Nifty index also fell by 336.85 points (-0.67%) during the same period.
On the other hand, some stocks like India Glycols, Genus Power Infrastructures, Cipla, Voltas, and Oil & Natural Gas Corporation reached their 52-week highs.
In the BSE Sensex index, the top gainers included Indusind Bank, Federal Bank, State Bank of India, Axis Bank, and Punjab National Bank. However, HDFC Bank, Bandhan Bank, and Kotak Mahindra Bank were among the top losers.
Similarly, in the Bank Nifty index, Indusind Bank, Federal Bank, State Bank of India, Axis Bank, and Punjab National Bank were the top performers, while HDFC Bank, Bandhan Bank, and Kotak Mahindra Bank lagged behind.
