Coca-Cola India has appointed Greishma Singh as the new vice-president of marketing. Singh previously held the role of vice-president for customer and commercial leadership, where she was responsible for managing revenue growth, customer value, and market strategies.
Although Coca-Cola hasn’t officially commented on the news yet, an announcement is expected soon. Singh has been with Coca-Cola for over 11 years, working in both India and Australia.
She replaces Arnab Roy, the former marketing chief, who has now taken on a new role in Atlanta as the president of Coca-Cola’s global category.
Coca-Cola is one of the biggest advertisers in India. Last year, the company renewed its partnership with the International Cricket Council (ICC) for another eight years, securing exclusive marketing rights for major events like the World Cup and Champions Trophy.
Coca-Cola recently reported strong growth in India, with double-digit volume increases in the April-June quarter, driven by popular brands like Sprite, Fanta, and Thums Up. Despite some early challenges this year, Coca-Cola remains confident in the potential of the Indian market.
