A Vistara flight traveling from Delhi to London had to make an emergency landing in Frankfurt on Friday after a bomb threat was reported. The airline confirmed that the plane landed safely, and security checks are being conducted before it can continue to London.
Vistara explained that the threat was received via social media, and as a precaution, the pilots decided to divert the flight. All relevant authorities were informed, and safety procedures were followed.
In a similar event, Akasa Air’s flight from Bengaluru to Mumbai was delayed due to a security alert before departure. Passengers were taken off the plane, and safety checks were carried out.
