According to the Reserve Bank of India, all private and public sector banks are closed on the second and fourth Saturdays of the month. However, banks are open on the first, third, and fifth Saturdays (if there is one).
Even though banks are closed today, essential banking services like ATMs and internet banking will still be available. The closure of banks this Saturday follows their regular schedule, where they observe holidays on the second and fourth Saturdays, as well as Sundays.
