The company stated that there was no fire or battery damage involved, and the motor also remained unaffected. The issue was limited to a plastic part emitting smoke. The materials in the battery pack ensured the scooter’s safety despite the incident.
A Bajaj Auto spokesperson reassured customers, saying, “The dealer partner quickly moved the scooter to the service center for a detailed check. Thankfully, no one was harmed.”
