Adani Green Energy Names Saurabh Shah as New CFO, Phuntsok Wangyal to Step Down by Sept 2024
Adani Green Energy Ltd (AGEL) announced on Saturday that Saurabh Shah has been appointed as the new Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of the company. This change will take place after the current CFO, Phuntsok Wangyal, steps down from his position, with his resignation becoming effective on September 30, 2024, as mentioned in the company’s filing to the stock exchange.
Saurabh Shah, who is currently the Deputy CFO at Adani Enterprises Limited, will take over as CFO of AGEL starting from October 1, 2024. In addition to this, Shaminder Singh Jamwal will become the Head of Security on the same date.
Satyajeet Ghoshal, who is currently the Head of Security, will move into a new role in the CEO’s office, where he will assist with business intelligence and technology transformation projects.
