Ranbir Kapoor’s Upcoming Film ‘Animal’ Surpasses ₹9 Crore in Advance Bookings

Anticipation for Bollywood’s highly awaited movie, “Animal,” has translated into substantial advance bookings, with the film collecting a noteworthy ₹9.75 crore on Monday, November 27. According to the Indian film trade portal Sacnilk, a total of 3,34,173 tickets have been sold across 7,200 shows in India.

The advance bookings breakdown reveals that 2,73,425 tickets have been booked for Hindi 2D shows, followed by 58,465 tickets for Telugu 2D shows, 1,504 tickets for Kannada shows, and 779 tickets for Tamil shows. Major contributions to the significant advance bookings have come from regions such as the National Capital Region (NCR) with ₹2.14 crore, Hyderabad with ₹1.12 crore, Mumbai with ₹84.96 lakh, Bengaluru with ₹80.02 lakh, Kolkata with ₹25.97 lakh, Jaipur with ₹18.31 lakh, and Chandigarh with ₹14.9 lakh, as reported by Sacnilk.

On the film’s first day of advance ticket sales, the Ranbir Kapoor starrer already amassed ₹6.95 crore, with a total of 2,28,275 tickets booked across all three languages on Sunday.

Projections suggest that “Animal” is poised to earn ₹50 crore on its opening day, according to Sacnilk reports. The Central Board of Film Certification has assigned an ‘A’ rating to the film.

Aside from Ranbir Kapoor, “Animal” features Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, and Rashmika Mandanna in pivotal roles. The narrative revolves around the strained relationship between Ranbir’s character, Arjun Singh, and his father Balbir Singh, portrayed by Anil Kapoor. Rashmika Mandanna plays Ranbir’s love interest, while Bobby Deol assumes the role of the chief antagonist.

Produced by Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar’s T-Series, Murad Khetani’s Cine1 Studios, and Pranay Reddy Vanga’s Bhadrakali Pictures, “Animal” is set to hit theaters on December 1, catering to audiences in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam languages.

Ranbir Kapoor, recognized for his debut in “Saawariya” in 2007, is hailed as one of the most talented actors of his generation, known for his roles in films such as “Barfi!,” “Rockstar,” “Wake Up Sid,” “Raajneeti,” and “Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani.”
