In response to technical issues, UCO Bank has decided to temporarily disable its IMPS (Immediate Payment Service channel) on Wednesday. The precautionary measure was implemented after transactions from account holders of other banks resulted in the crediting of UCO Bank accounts without the actual receipt of money from those banks.
Numerous individuals voiced their concerns on the social media platform X, urging the bank to address the issue promptly. One user expressed the sentiment that common people are losing faith in banks and requested UCO Bank to pay attention to its system.
In a statement, UCO Bank assured that it is actively collaborating with stakeholders to resolve the technical problem and aims to restore IMPS services at the earliest. The matter has also been reported to law enforcement agencies for necessary action.
“Due to hacking of its server, UCO Bank has illegally changed the payment from people’s accounts in the form of hold or loan, due to which the general public is getting troubled, hence you are requested to pay attention to the system of UCO Bank,” said another user.

The bank emphasized that all other critical systems remain operational and available during this period.
