Kinetic Engineering Invests ₹30 Crore to Boost Electric Vehicle Component Production

Kinetic Engineering Ltd plans to invest ₹30 crore in its subsidiary, Kinetic Watts and Volts, to enhance research, development, and manufacturing of electric vehicle components. The Pune-based company, known for making auto parts, set up this subsidiary in 2022 to produce parts like motors, axles, frames, controllers, and batteries for electric vehicles.

The company stated, “Kinetic Engineering will invest ₹30 crore into its newly formed electric subsidiary, Kinetic Watts and Volts Ltd. This latest investment builds on our previous ₹18.5 crore investment, bringing the total to ₹48.5 crore.”

Managing Director Ajinkya Firodia said, “This new investment shows our commitment to innovation and helps us move towards a more sustainable future.” The funding will help create efficient and advanced electric mobility solutions for customers in India.
