According to a new rule, securities will now be directly credited to investors’ demat accounts by 3:30 PM on the settlement day, under the T+1 rolling settlement system. This update is aimed at making the process more efficient and ensuring that investors receive their securities faster. SEBI’s goal with this move is to make the market operate more smoothly and enhance the experience for investors.

In stock market news, Diffusion Engineers made a strong debut on the stock exchange. Its shares listed at a 15.2% premium, starting at ₹168 per share, showing high investor interest. Another company, Garuda Construction and Engineering, also had a successful week, with its IPO being oversubscribed 7.55 times. This oversubscription reflects strong confidence from investors in the company’s future growth.

Several asset management companies (AMCs) launched new fund offerings (NFOs) this week. Mirae Asset Management introduced three new funds: the Mirae Asset Nifty 50 Index Fund, the Mirae Asset Nifty Largemidcap 250 Index Fund, and the Mirae Asset Nifty Total Market Index Fund. These funds give investors a chance to diversify by investing in a variety of large-cap and mid-cap companies, as well as the broader market.

Kotak AMC launched the Kotak MNC Fund, which focuses on multinational companies with a strong presence in India. This fund allows investors to benefit from the performance of globally established firms operating in India.

Tata AMC also introduced the Tata Nifty Capital Markets Index Fund, which targets companies within India’s financial markets sector. This fund offers investors an opportunity to invest in businesses that play key roles in the country’s financial infrastructure.

Lastly, Samco AMC launched the Samco Multi Cap Fund. This fund invests in companies across different market sizes, including large, mid, and small-cap segments, allowing investors to benefit from growth across various industries and sectors.
