After being admitted to Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai due to age-related health issues, he was transferred to the ICU earlier this week. Tata took over leadership of the Tata Group in 1991, a company founded by his great-grandfather over a century ago. Although he stepped down from active management in 2012, his wisdom continued to guide the business during important decisions.
