Aditya Ultra Steel Ltd, a manufacturer of rolled steel products, has announced plans to build a 5 MW solar power plant in Rajkot, Gujarat. The project will cost ₹15 crore and help the company meet its energy needs sustainably.
The company also shared its financial performance for April-September 2024, reporting:
- Net Profit: ₹5.87 crore
- Revenue from Operations: ₹312.39 crore
- Operating Profit: ₹10.50 crore
Aditya Ultra Steel, known for its Kamdhenu brand products, was recently listed on the NSE SME platform in September after a ₹46 crore IPO. In FY24, the company achieved ₹587.80 crore in revenue and ₹7.69 crore in profit.
Sunny Sunil Singhi, the Managing Director, said the solar plant is part of a larger plan to expand production capacity, boost efficiency, and adopt more sustainable practices. This move reflects the company’s commitment to growth and environmental responsibility.
