To the Tata Group, Mr. Tata was much more than a chairperson. Personally, he was a mentor, guide, and friend to me. His leadership by example, commitment to excellence, integrity, and innovation helped expand the Tata Group globally while always staying true to its core values.

Mr. Tata’s devotion to philanthropy and the welfare of society impacted millions of lives. His efforts in education, healthcare, and social development have created a lasting legacy that will benefit future generations. His humble nature was evident in every personal interaction.

On behalf of the entire Tata family, I offer our deepest condolences to his loved ones. His legacy will continue to inspire us as we work to uphold the values he so deeply cherished.”

Ratan Tata’s Passing

Ratan Tata, one of India’s most influential business leaders, passed away on October 9 at the age of 86, after being critically ill at Mumbai’s Breach Candy Hospital. Earlier this week, Tata had informed his followers on social media that he was undergoing routine medical check-ups due to age-related issues.

Known for his significant contributions to India’s economy, Tata led the Tata Group for more than two decades, before stepping down in 2012. His work left a lasting mark on the nation.
