Mahindra’s Swaraj Tractors Unveils Powerful Compact Model: Target 625 Aims to Revolutionize Modern Farming

New Delhi: Swaraj Tractors, a part of the Mahindra Group, introduced a new tractor model called the Target 625 on Thursday. This compact tractor is available in both two-wheel and four-wheel drive versions. The company aims to strengthen its presence in India’s agricultural machinery market by offering a tractor that can help farmers adopt modern farming methods.

The Target 625 features an 83.1 Nm torque diesel engine and adjustable track widths, making it ideal for working in narrow fields. Some key features include a lifting capacity of 980 kg, a Power Take-Off (PTO) output of 14.09 kW, a constant mesh transmission, and a digital instrument cluster.

One of the standout technologies in this model is the “Max-Cool Radiator,” which helps prevent the engine from overheating during long hours of operation—an important feature given the tough agricultural conditions in India.

Swaraj Tractors, based in Punjab, has not yet revealed the price for this new model.

Compact tractors like the Target 625 are becoming more popular in the Indian market because they can handle a variety of tasks while reducing crop damage in the fields.

Founded in 1974, Swaraj Tractors offers a wide range of models with power outputs from 11.2 kW (15 HP) to 49.2 kW (65 HP), aiming to provide complete farming and horticultural solutions for Indian farmers.
