Princeton Digital to Build India’s Largest Data Center Hub at Mindspace Airoli

Princeton Digital Group (PDG), a global data center operator, has teamed up with Mindspace Business Parks REIT, supported by K Raheja Corp, to build its biggest data center hub in India at Mindspace Airoli West.

Through this partnership, Mindspace REIT will develop three more custom-built data centers, adding 1 million square feet to PDG’s existing portfolio. Mindspace REIT has already built two data centers for PDG, totaling 0.63 million square feet.

Once the new centers are completed, the entire business park will have five data center buildings, and the total data center space will be about 1.65 million square feet. This project will cover over 15 acres and will be part of the larger 50-acre Mindspace Airoli West campus.

Ramesh Nair, CEO of Mindspace REIT, explained that this deal strengthens their focus on high-growth areas like data centers, offering stable, long-term revenue and helping to diversify their income.

Mindspace REIT will offer PDG full services, including power infrastructure, designed to meet sustainability goals. Navi Mumbai has become a top location for cloud infrastructure, thanks to its stable power supply, proximity to submarine cable stations, and readiness for AI technology growth.

Data centers in India are becoming a prime investment opportunity, with the country seeing major growth in this sector. The Indian government’s policies, including rules on data localization and new data center regulations, are making it easier for these projects to move forward quickly.
