Tata Group is planning to hire 4,000 women technicians for its manufacturing plants in Tamil Nadu and Karnataka. The company will recruit these women from Uttarakhand under the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) and the Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme (NAPS).
A letter from Tata Group’s Chief Human Resource Officer, Ranjan Bandopadhyay, was sent to Uttarakhand’s planning department to start the recruitment process. The selected women will work as shop floor technicians, handling precision electronics and automated machines.
These candidates will receive food, accommodation, transportation, and a fixed salary. They will also get appointment letters under the NAPS and NATS schemes, with benefits according to company policy.
