Gopalakrishnan J Elevated to Executive Director and Group CEO at Shriram Properties; K R Ramesh Takes on New Strategic Role

Bengaluru: Shriram Properties has promoted Gopalakrishnan J to the position of Executive Director and Group CEO. He previously served as Executive Director and Group CFO. With this change, K R Ramesh will take on the role of Executive Director – Strategy and Corporate Development, transitioning from his current role as Executive Director of Operations.

Gopalakrishnan joined Shriram Properties in 2018 and has been key in the company’s transformation and IPO process. He has over 33 years of experience in corporate finance and capital markets, having worked at Reliance Industries Limited and the Aditya Birla Group.

Ramesh has been with Shriram Properties since 2007, managing operations and business development. He has over 34 years of experience in accounting and finance, with previous roles at Sun Beverages Private Limited and Varun Beverages Limited. He has played a significant part in the company’s project pipeline and operational efficiency.

The company is currently searching for a new CFO. In the meantime, Gopalakrishnan will continue to oversee the finance department.
