100 Dividend Stocks to Watch Next Week: Vedanta, Ultratech Cement, and More Going Ex-Dividend

Next week, 99 companies have set their record dates to determine guaranteed shareholders for dividend payouts.

Among them, 5 are Nifty companies: Ultratech Cement, Maruti Suzuki, Cipla, Divi’s Laboratories, and Hero Motocorp. Other notable names include Vedanta, Oberoi Realty, and Sundaram Finance.

Shareholders whose names are on the company’s record on the set date will receive dividends. With the T+1 settlement system, the record date and ex-date are often the same, except when there’s a market holiday after the ex-date.

To qualify for dividends, investors must buy the stock at least one day before the ex-date. Buying on the ex-date means you won’t get the dividend.
